Alec spent eight years as a director of the Lone Star Film Society, Inc., leading the organization to national recognition and financial stability. He has also served in various roles on major film productions including as a consultant to the producers on Terrence Malick’s TO THE WONDER starring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams and an Executive Producer on A COUNTRY CALLED HOME starring Imogen Poots and June Squibb. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ramtin has over ten years of experience in all facets of the live event and festival industry. Prior to starting Fortress Presents he served as the managing director of the Lone Star Film Society, Inc. Ramtin’s work as a filmmaker has appeared in The New York Times, and screened at festivals and venues around the world. Ramtin received a BA in Cinema and Television and an MA in Communication Arts from Southern Methodist University.

Max Gregor

Director of Production

Max has worked in virtually every aspect of live event production. He was an audio engineer and stage manager at Austin’s world-famous Emo’s Nightclub, and worked on a number of high-profile festivals in practically every role. He was the executive producer of Austin’s legendary Fun Fun Fun Fest and went on to open the “Event Production” department of Transmission Events in 2010, assuming the role of director, producing events for clients like Spotify, Vice, Mediacom, Formula 1, Buzzfeed, and many more.

Talent Buyer

Matt is an events producer who splits his time between North Texas and Salt Lake City. He has served a number of leadership roles in over twenty years working in the live performance space. He most recently wrapped his forth season as the main talent buyer and artist relations manager for the performing arts programs of the Salt Lake City Arts Council, the Twilight Concert Series and the Living Traditions Festival. Matt also works as the show manager for all live performances at the Eccles Theater, the new performing arts center in downtown Salt Lake City. Past experience includes over a dozen years of varied roles with the Sundance Film Festival, Director of Operations of Dallas International Film Festival (’07 and ’08) as well as the inaugural EARTHxFilm Festival in April of 2017 in Fair Park.

Business Development

Lauren specializes in expanding the Fortress Presents portfolio of corporate partners and event services clients. Prior to joining Fortress Presents, Lauren has ten years of experience in business development, management, and pharmaceutical sales. Lauren has spent the last four years in the staffing industry focused on business development and recruiting. with one of those companies being a Fortune 500. Lauren was also named Rookie of the Year and held various leadership roles throughout her tenure. Lauren is also part of a national organization, Crawl for Cancer, and serves as the city representative where she oversees and heads the entire event sponsoring a local charity. Lauren is a proud born and bred Fort Worthian and received her BBA in Management from Texas Tech University.

Brandon Adams

Brandon Adams

Branding and Graphic Design

Brandon has more than 18 years of graphic design experience. His varied design background comes with extensive experience in print media, including logo design and branding, along with front-end web design and some 2D and 3D animation skills. His past employment is similarly unique: from large corporations such as Verizon to smaller boutique companies, as well as working for himself as a freelancer. His most recent work was completed for Fortress Festival and Fortress Presents and is available to help make Fortress clients develop and refine their branding and marketing materials.
